My family ran hotels. That's where I learned what occupancy means when it's your mortgage, not a line on a spreadsheet. I also built a cosmetic dental practice from scratch, which taught me something no MBA program covers: how to make conservative decisions under real pressure, every single day.
After years of working alongside physicians and specialists who were earning high incomes but building almost no equity in real assets, I started asking a different question: what if the same rigor I apply to clinical work could be applied to real estate?
Auren Capital is the answer. We buy branded hotel assets in markets with structural demand. We partner with institutional operators. And I invest my own money in every deal, because if I'm not willing to risk my capital, I have no business asking you to risk yours.
